Shrines & Temples Abound

First full day in Kyoto. Got a later start than I was hoping for, but still put in a full day’s work. The ol’ Fitbit is reporting over 32k steps. My hotel provided a traditional-style breakfast, and then I was out the door on my way to the Fushimi Inari Shrine, which is actually a large collection of Shinto Shrines that wind up through a line of orange gates.

After that, I visited a couple of Buddhist temples before capping off the night with Japanese whiskey and beer in a small little pub.
