On To The Next Stop

My time in Hakone ended today, and I’m onto Kyoto. Travel days are usually a little low key. It was a bit of a trek to get back down the hill to the Gora Station, and then in the two train process. The Shinkansen from Odawara to Kyoto was super smooth. Hard to believe that it was moving that fast.

I got to Kyoto in the afternoon, and went for a walking tour I took out of the Lonely Planet book. Kyoto is a weird doppelganger of Tokyo. It's the former capital, but it feels like Reno vs Las Vegas.
