On the Road…

Today was a travel day, and despite the bullet trains, it still was a long ride from Kyoto to Tokyo, then up to Kinugawa via Nikko. Lot of time in trains, and because I am real hesitant to risk missing a train, a fair bit in stations as well. It was actually getting dark by the time I checked in.

 

Not much today in the way of pictures, some land/city scapes as the train flew by. Though, in Kinugawa I found a cool little restaurant run by an older couple. They kicked me out to go see the fireworks I had no idea were happening, so that was a fun discovery. Kinugawa is a really quiet little town on/in a national park. It’s kind of a national holiday this weekend, so tomorrow might be a little crowded.
