Cloudy Day in Kinugawa
Today was a day with very little, more accurately, nothing scheduled. Tomorrow I’ve got a big day planned in Nikko, but I opted to stay away from the “main” part of the region as it’s still a long holiday in Japan, and with the leaves starting to turn I’ve heard that Nikko has been insanely busy lately on weekend. Hopefully, tomorrow is a little calmer, being a weekday.
Instead, I just kind of bopped around Kinugawa, a small town, most famous, from what I can tell for its onsens. It was cloudy and gray to start, and it did eventually start to rain, which was great as it justified my packing of a rain jacket.
A lot of great scenery shots between the rain cycles.
I capped it off with ramen at a place that spoke exactly no English. Google Translate to the rescue. It was really good though.
