Rayez-le de ma liste de choses à faire

Okay, third time is the charm.

Going to be a bit abbreviated because it’s now late again, and I’ve got an early day ahead of me.

The trip out was long. Going East seems to hit me harder, and all the delays didn’t help. On the plus side, unexpected dinosaur in O’Hare.

Once I touched down in Paris, however, things got moving again. Customs and the train into the city was a breeze. I checked into my hotel room, got things situated, watched a little skateboarding competition in French, then left to go to Stad de France for the evening’s ticket.

On tap for Thursday’s schedule was women’s long jump and men’s javelin for the field, and on the track was a semi for the women’s 1500, the men’s 200 (bummer to see Lyles torpedo his reputation), the women’s 400m hurdles (McLaughlin-Levrone cemented hers), the men’s 110 hurdles, as well as the shot put and 200m for the women’s heptathlon.

I was on the wrong side of the track for the finish line, but really good spot for the long jump.

All around, awesome night, super tired, as evidenced by the inability to actually post/
